Betty Blair “BB” was a founding member of the Ark. She lived, loved,& led the Ark until she died too early of pancreatic cancer in Sept 2019. We dedicated the recently built annex in her memory and honor. The words on the plaque say it all: “The Ark Community Resource and Assistance Center gratefully acknowledges Betty Blair’s determination and tireless effort to extend the helping hand of The Ark to south Cheatham County residents through the food pantry, Noah’s Closet Resale Shop, Meals on Wheels, and The Ark’s other social programs. As a visionary, she has been instrumental in bringing these programs and facilities to reality since The Ark first opened its doors in 2001."
